12 Days of Giving Donation Announcement 💝

Hi Karrot Family 🥰, We wanted to give a big round of applause to everyone who participated in our special 12 Days of Giving event! It was great seeing all of you post your items in support of Holiday Helpers 💝. You’ve all surpassed our expectations and SMASHED our $1000 goal! In total you’ve collectively posted 1492 items! Give yourselves a pat on the back. We were amazed by all the cool stuff being shared and have committed to donating $1500 in support of local low-income families living in the GTA this holiday season. 👏🏻 Holiday Helpers provides the complete Holiday experience to families in need with the goal of providing necessary poverty relief items while sharing the spirit of Christmas and giving. 🎄 Many of the families in the program are: - single parent families - newly immigrated to Canada - involved in programs for subsided daycare or living - have experienced a catastrophic event that has impacted their financial situation All the families are motivated to make a positive difference in their children's lives. They often work multiple jobs to make ends meet, attend night school or even perform volunteer work of their own. Your donation will go a long way! 🎄 Each family will receive the following items: - A minimum $100 gift card to a local grocery store for a warm meal - Personalized gifts from the families wish list, including warm jackets, clothing, household items and toys - An artificial Christmas tree with all the trimmings, including lights, decorations and a tree topper If you would like to learn more about the organization or make a personal donation you can check it out here: https://holidayhelpers.org/get-involved/donate/ Again, we want to thank the lovely community for taking part in the initiative by decluttering and posting items you no longer need.
