This is an interesting oversized softcover childrens book, measuring about 10 by 12 inches published by Samuel Lowe in 1944, during WWII, which makes some of the delightful illustrations a bit more unique, as you will see in the photos. It isn't titled but clearly showcases 8 alphabets, with corresponding themed illustrations to the letters and words. The first alphabet starts on the front cover and only goes halfway through, as it finishes on the back cover. The third alphabet is the wartime one, as you can see in my photos, as it clearly uses military words and pictures for that alphabet's theme - not something you expect in an alphabet book. It is in very good, clean condition with minor wear. The pages are free of writing, and there's light cover wear. The pages have that linen texture to them. Overall - nice condition for a book this age. It is rather hard to find a book that would have only been published with those military illustrations for a short period of time. Would bundle and consider fair offers.
