Written in the 1920s and republished in 1940 this is the story of a New York tough guy’s success navigating the world of delinquency, poverty, the underworld, crime, and murder against the backdrop of the fascinating and rapidly evolving American city culture. Good overall shape and very readable. Some wear and staining to the dust jacket, but hey at least it survives! Hardcover is in good shape with minor bending of corners. Pages are clear and unblemished. ~7.5” x 5.25” x 1.25”
