Stunning Hand Blown Glass Dress Sculpture

This freestanding delicate piece is a work of art, both literally and figuratively. Made in two larger pieces joined at the waist, the top apparently hand blown. With bottom printed and formed glass, then having the straps added individually shows the skill necessary for the artisan to craft this wonderful dress. Stands on its own and would look wonderful in a clothing shop, walk in closet, or on a shelf. Perfect gift for the fashionista. I know very little of the background of this item. If I had to guess, based on the style and colours I would say it is from the 1980s or 1990s. It has some weight to it, yet it must be handled with care - especially the strap pieces - but there are no noted flaws or breaks. This will be packed very securely for transit. ~7.5” x ~7.5” x ~6.5”
