Beautiful pearl grape cluster pendant necklace, from Japan, on my trip in 1995. The pendant is Mikimoto grape-motif pearl pendant. Design: The pendant features a cluster of cultured pearls representing a bunch of grapes, with two stylized leaves. This "grape" or "vineyard" design is a known motif in Mikimoto's jewelry. Materials: The pendant is made of white gold, and the pearls are Japanese Akoya cultured pearls. Similar vintage and pre-owned pieces can be found on auction and resale sites, often listed as "Mikimoto Silver Grape Pendant The pearls are around 4mm to 6mm in size, excellent condition always stored in jewelry box.
