They go one nice and secure however the area I was putting them on is a little tilited therefore its accentuating the tilt so I want be using them. They come with 5 silicone buckle straps to adjust around the pole or railing. Each strap has a base for the light to securely sit in. They opperate on 1 AAA battery each (batteries included). The lights are a warm white. The material consists of aluminum+ABS. They're waterproof. These are suitable for most frames on above ground pools and chainlink fence.
