Camping we are now camping in the city of anyone has things they don’t want sleeping bag storage bin, old cooler flashlights I’ll keep the writing to the post if you would like to know how we got where we are They could not find us a suitable place to stay I have two cats they wanted me to get rid of one Me and mom have another guy from the warming Center who has a dog The people with pets were left till the end In the three months I’ve been there they could not find us a place together as a family tha is in Scarborough First night slept in a parking lot Lucky we had some blankets was helped to move to a steer location Still homeless at a warming Center that is closing and place people any any spot doesn’t matter you need to take what they offer or else your discharged from the shelter and on your own My mom was discharged from The shelter last week due to having too much belongings even if your stuff is contained they have a two bag rule. My mom has been outside and taking the bus around I’m still at the shelter with my two cats Yesterday they tryed to offer me a spot at a woman’s shelter but. Could only take one cat If they try to offer me a place that isn’t a contaminated room or hotel motel I will not be accepting the placement and will be looking for storage bins and tents and outdoor things to live outside in a tent with my mom two cats and myself I work in Scarborough and need to be able to get to work I support my mom and the cats Right now at the shelter I’m unable to take anything else The shelter system will not accept me and my mom as a family and keep trying to place us separate I am my moms only support she is dependent on me as well as the cats they are our family we need each other A lady was placed down town yesterday she called crying telling us their is no shower women are washing their hair in the toilet Needles on the floor drug using everywhere women expose themselves ect asking why would they send her to that place I don’t want to end up at a place like that I don’t do anything like that I don’t smoke drink or do drugs Being at the shelter alone is hard enough but I’ve been at this one I have people looking out for me and watching my cats when I’m not there I’m safe with the people looking out for me On Tuesday when I went to work and I came back after work in the afternoon/evening the shift leader told me they were going to call animal services to take my cats away because I abandoned them and went to work I have multiple people watching them and they sleep during the day My cats are good boys they furnaces with leashes attached to the cage they use their litter box no problem and they are Quiet they call out sometimes but they are calling for my mom they miss her and she misses them Helpful Advice and help with getting equipment for staying outside would be appreciated if not thanks for reading
