










Vintage Hardcover "Three Plays for Puritans" by George Bernard Shaw ๐ This collection of plays was published in 1900. It includes the plays The Devil's Disciple (1897), Caesar and Cleopatra (1898), and Captain Brassbound's Conversion (1900). The volume also features a lengthy preface by Shaw, where he outlines his views on drama and introduces the term "bardolatry" to describe excessive admiration for Shakespeare. Shaw, a Nobel Prize laureate, aimed to create theatre that was both entertaining and thought-provoking, using traditional dramatic forms to challenge conventional wisdom.
