Engraved Whale Tooth - Very Impressive Art Work -7.5” long

I have a whale tooth that has been engraved, it is from before WW II but no one seems to be able to tell me when. The best guess is early past century(roughly 1910).
It is a very interesting piece and I used it as a paperweight and it would be a very interesting Christmas gift or something of that nature.
I’m asking $50 for it, but would take a reasonable offer.
It can be picked up close to the corner of Wellington and Seminary, 60657.
