Wool Herringbone Winter Coat with Fur Collar

Elegant and warm vintage tailored long winter coat, in a timeless grey and black herringbone pattern, with a luxurious black/ dark brown fur collar (animal source unknown). Coat is made with pure virgin wool, genuine fur and genuine leather. The wool is a blend of merino wool, llama wool and mohair. It is lined with poly insulation. Jacket closes with buttons, some visible and decorative and some hidden behind a panel. It has 2 side pockets with a unique shape and stitching. There are decorative panels of brown suede and black leather at the sleeve cuffs and by the buttons. Jacket is made by Berghaus International of Holland, for the Eastern European market, and was originally purchased in Latvia in the early 90s. It is in excellent vintage condition. Coat is a vintage EU size 44, equivalent to a US size Large. Pit to pit measures about 21", shoulders measure about 17.5", and pit to sleeve hem measures about 16.75".
