I knew it touched on healing and trauma, but I didn’t research much before buying it. The book dives into childhood trauma, assault, family issues, relationships, and healing, so I’d definitely say this is R18+ (honestly, even 20+) — not something I’d keep around kids or young teens. I cried during the first chapter because parts were very raw and relatable. It’s written in modern poetry style — for me, it was okay, but my heart still prefers old poetry and old-English phrasing. Overall: 7.5/10 — meaningful, emotional, but not a book I plan to keep.
