Red Boxers" Serigraph by leRoy Neiman

1973 Limited Edition LeRoy Neiman Red Boxer Poster Muhammad Ali This extremely rare large 26″ x 40″ original color theater poster is printed on heavy paper stock. The poster commemorated the appearance of boxing great Muhammad Ali at the Auditorium Theatre in Chicago, Illinois. It was held on Friday December 2, 1977 and titled, “A Night At The Theatre”. The benefit was to the Children’s Institute For Developmental Disabilities. The image by LeRoy Neiman is called “The Red Boxer” and is an excellent example of his fine work. Most notable, is that this was a one night appearance for “The Greatest” many years ago. There was a limited attendance as well so the poster is limited by this equation. Condition wise, it remains intact with only minor but expected aging/storage wear. Overall, a tremendous fight relic with splashes of colors bold and bright typical for Neiman.
