Mid Century Solid Oak Front Door w Brass Hardware & Mail Slot

Mid-Century Solid Oak Front Door (circa 1950s) – Architectural Salvage Beautiful mid-century front door removed from my Victorian-century home in Toronto and carefully stored in a dry space since the mid-1980s (approx. 40 years on the premises). • Estimated 1950s • Heavy, solid construction — my research indicates solid oak • Original varnish/shellac finish • Clear glass insert (not frosted — simply needs an easy clean) • Original solid brass doorknob hardware with a distinctive mid-century design – Note: some verdigris present on one knob – I have tested the knobs: they do turn, however they do not appear to be fully functional • Original mail slot, believed to be solid brass as well Measurements (approx.): • Height: 79 in (6.5 ft) • Width: 30 1/4 in • Thickness: 1 3/4 in A wonderful candidate for restoration, reuse, or display in a period renovation, MCM-inspired home, or architectural salvage project. Solid, well-made, and full of character. Please message me for additional photos — I have more than the platform allows me to post (ie measurements). Pickup in downtown Toronto. Door is heavy — please plan accordingly.
