❤️8 RARE COALPORT HAND PAINTED ANTIQUE PORCELAIN PLATES❤️ ABSOLUTELY STUNNINGLY BREATHTAKING PLATES IN EXCELLENT CONDITION *****PROVENANCE IS THAT THESE PLATES WERE OWNED BY MY GRANDMOTHER,THE VERY FIRST MISS CANADA (1918)******** THEY WOULD MAKE A BEAUTIFUL WEDDING GIFT OR ANNIVERSARY GIFT. WOULD BE STUNNING SET AT A TABLE OR EVEN BETTER ALL DISPLAYED AND HANGING AS ART ON A WALL . ⭐️The rim is heavily encrusted with gilt decoration, accented with dark cobalt blue. The edge of the rim is gadrooned. The central portion of the plate sports a unique and exquisite floral bouquet in shades of periwinkle blue, pink, yellow, and orange. EACH PLATE HAS A DIFFERENT FLORAL DESIGN HAND PAINTED ON IT .Plates measure 10 1/2" in diameter. Marked: Made In England Coalport A.D. 1750 "Gadlock". Also marked with the pattern number 8393F. According to this description this mark dates this piece to circa 1920. It's a beautiful set and of high quality. These would not have been used to eat off of - they were dishes that were placed on a table at a formal meal then removed when the plate bearing food was served.
