It was gifted to me 45-50 years ago and was an antique at that time. Antique Victorian rosewood jewellery / sewing / letter / storage box with rosewood lift up lid opening to reveal a fitted blue silk interior and a storage compartments - including for letters and sewing needles with beautiful original metal key hole escutcheon. Includes what is possibly the original sewing needle in one pic. A beautiful piece for a bedroom display table and in original condition. Approx.
