2002 Gibson SG Special - Excellent Condition

Up for sale is a beautiful, early-2000s Gibson SG Special in a classic Gloss Ebony finish. This guitar was crafted at the Nashville, TN plant on July 24, 2002. Unlike the later faded or tribute models, this era features a gorgeous premium high-gloss finish and a dark, solid rosewood fretboard that plays incredibly fast and smooth. Specs & Details: - Year: 2002 (Made in USA) - Finish: Gloss Ebony (Black) - Fretboard: Rosewood with dot inlays - Pickups: Original Gibson humbuckers (upgraded/fitted with classic chrome covers for an SG Standard look) - Tuners: Original Gibson Deluxe vintage-style green-key tuners - Condition: Excellent overall condition. The gloss finish is very clean with a deep shine. Virtually no buckle rash on the back, which is rare for an SG of this age. - Care History: Never gigged with. Only played inside a strictly smoke-free home. - Note on Electronics: The volume potentiometer is slightly scratchy sometimes while you are actively rotating the knob to adjust the volume. Once it is set, it is a complete non-issue while playing (it only crackles slightly during the physical adjustment itself).
