This plate is composed of a proprietary mineral formulation consisting of 33 elements in 43 chemical binding forms. The principle behind sing the mineral plate is that the heating of the minerals into their ionic state with an infrared warmer is what stimulates many of the body’s natural metabolic processes. The TDP lamp can be used in reducing inflammation, relieving pain, promoting blood circulation, improving microcirculation, strengthening immunity against disease and improving metabolism. This is a great adjunct to any treatment. It can also be used in conjunction with moxa balm or spray clinics where smoke and odour are prohibited. Insert the plug into a rated voltage power supply socket. To turn on the power, rotate the timer knob clockwise to the desirable time setting. The indicator will be lit and the lamp will be ready for use after being preheated for 10-15 minutes. Note: Never turn the timer knob counterclockwise or force the timer to return to zero. To terminate the power before time is up, disconnect the power supply. 2. Expose the troubled part of the body or the relevant acupuncture point directly toward the lamp head with a distance of 20 to 30 cm (8 to 12 inches). The best result is obtained when the local skin temperature is kept at 40’C (104’F) or the patient feels comfortable. A too low temperature will diminish the therapeutic effects and a too high temperature tends to burn the skin. 3. Treatment time length: 20 to 60 minutes each time, 1 or 2 times a day.
