Bought this stunning chair at auction with the intention to strip and restain, alas there’s a wicked finish to it (lacquer?) and I just don’t have the time or energy to do her justice. My loss is your gain - she’s beautiful as is and a steal of a deal! Beautiful hand carved and crafted antique Victorian chair with newer reupholstered striped upholstery with rich colours and tones. Has castor wheels up front. Wicked detail throughout! Sits a little lower than modern chairs, seat springs are still great and supportive. Measures: about 38” high with a 15” seat height.
