The "Star and Fan" pattern is deeply pressed into heavy, high-clarity crystal, designed to mimic the brilliance of "cut" glass from the earlier American Brilliant Period. The bowl is supported by a distinctive tripod base of three scrolled feet and is topped with its original matching lid.
