Beautiful Vintage Amethyst Art

Perfect gift. This pewter sculpture is mounted on a beautiful chunk of amethyst and rock. This is Canadian amethyst from Thunder Bay, Ontario. Amethyst is the birthstone for February and the official gemstone of Ontario. Some believe that amethyst can bring good luck and that it represents wealth and peace. The sculpture affixed to the stone is a Sea Goat, a mythological creature half goat, half fish. It is a common representation, especially for the zodiac sign for Capricorn (December 22-January 19) The archer is placed artistically on a base of natural rock, amethyst and pyrite and features a colourful iridescent crystal ball. This piece was purchased in the early 1990’s, but never displayed. The artist’s card is included. It is 6 inches long, 6 inches wide and 3 1/2 inches tall approximately. Cash only please. No holds.
