I have here a Canon DC100 DVD camcorder with 25x Optical zoom, that I’m selling, it’s from 2006 so of course it may seem like ancient technology, so this would be more of a novelty item. It comes with everything you see in the pictures, including the Roots carrying case, with strap, charger, and rca video wire, the battery surprisingly still holds a charge of some kind for its age. I don’t have any of the discs that go in it for recording, so unless you have one laying around, you may have to find some. This camera is very particular about the discs it accepts, according the the Canon website the compatibility is as follows. Description DVD-R/RW and DVD+R/RW are similar but generally non-interchangable formats. Canon DVD camcorders only use DVD-R/RW discs. Solution DVD-R/RW and DVD+R/RW are similar but generally non-interchangable formats. Canon DVD camcorders only use DVD-R/RW* or DVD-R DL discs (DC10, DC20, DC100, and DC40 are not compatible with DVD-R DL discs). If a DVD+R/RW disc is loaded into a Canon DVD camcorder the camcorder will display a "DISC ERROR" message after it attempts to read the disc. *DVD-RW Double sided discs may also be used however each side will need to be initialized before use. DVD-R discs do not need to be initialized.
