Elgin Watch 1950s

This is a vintage Elgin Sportsman gold face and gold band watch 17J mens watch. This rare watch was produced in Europe The watch has been tested and cleaned and with the limited amount of testing it does keep accurate time.It is a manual wind watch. The watch is in good condition for 1950s It has been gently used. It is a great piece of history. It would be a great addition to any collection. The band is adjustable. On the inside cover it reads "Elgin National Watch Company SWISS 6926." On the movement it reads "Elgin 823 SWISS Seventeen 17 Jewels Unadiusted."
