This console table features a single drawer, mirror, and turned legs. It was made by Gibbards Furniture and is solid walnut. It comes with a high quality detachable mirror (stamped 1930 on the back). It has understated detail carving on the front, along with turned legs and brass castors. It carries its history with it - had been painted white, and there are a few flecks, along with other ‘character spots’, that have remained. The drawer slides well and it has a solid walnut face with is a solid mahogany box - a new drawer bottom was added. This versatile table could be used as an entryway table, vanity, or as a decorative, yet functional table in any room.
