Vintage Crystal Discus Candleholder Orrefors Sweden 1995

Orrefors Discus Votive candle holder, a vintage Swedish crystal piece designed by Lars Hellsten. Originally designed for the 1995 World Athletics Championships in Sweden, it is intended to evoke the motif of an Olympic flame and inspired by the design of the athletic discus. The texture of the crystal creates a beautiful radiating light when lit. - Fits a standard tea light at 1 1/2” diameter - about 5 1/2” diameter, 1 3/4” tall - very solid at nearly 2 pounds - there are some minor signs of use, but it’s in excellent vintage condition - maker’s mark is etched on the bottom 🏃‍♂️Pick up in the Ossington and Davenport area.
