It's a unique representation of traditional Inuit art and Jobie Inukpuk 1934-1983 Black soap stone. 5 “w x 6.25”d x 4”h Jobie Inukpuk (1934-1983) was an Inuit sculptor working in stone carving from Inukjuak (Port Harrison), Nunavik, Quebec. His wife, Jeannie, was a weaver. His work is featured in the permanent collection at the Canadian Museum of History, Gatineau, the Winnipeg Art Gallery, the Remai Modern, Saskatoon, and the Glenbow Museum, Calgary, among others. Shows wear and tear due to its age! culture.
