Antique EAPG Amber Glass Spooner - Central Glass Co. 1880s

This is an Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG) piece from the Central Glass Company, dating to around 1885. The pattern is officially known as "No. 796" and is often called "Lattice and Thumbprint" or "Rope and Thumbprint" by collectors. It's a spooner, traditionally used on a Victorian dining table, but could also serve as a celery vase. It features a bulbous body with four rows of inverted thumbprints, a flared, scalloped rim with a lattice/rope design, and a matching pedestal foot. Preowned. Pickup is at 58th and 7th Ave in Midtown Manhattan.
