MCM Rope Clock

Mid century modern MCM Mauthe wall clock with rope hanger. German made, wind-up. Keeps excellent time. Chimes can be turned off or on via knob at the back. Minimalistic dial with raised brass indices. Hangs on a gold-tone rope with a brass hanger. It is a fully functional wind-up wall clock with two knobs on the back (I’ve read that it can last 8 days but I haven’t tested that out myself). The wood appears to be a lighter wood (oak or maple?) that was stained by the manufacturer. I think it would look great with a good wood polish - but will leave that for the new owner to decide. The clock has a few minor scratches on the face of it (see 2nd to last photo), consistent with its vintage age.
