Used this bag for a multi month backpacking trip through Asia several years ago. The rain cover I'd used got old and started to flake, so I'd bought a new one, and haven't ended up using this bag again, so selling with a brand new rain cover (still has tags). The hip straps are super comfortable, and have pockets in them. Top loading, but I look at it as it's more difficult for thieves to steal stuff. I used the MEC Skyway Airline Tote (https://www.mec.ca/en/product/5030-444/skyway-airline-tote) to pack it in whenever travelling on public transport, so it's in quite good condition. There are a few stains (see pictures) on the top roll down (had a purple shirt that wasn't quite dry that I had to pack up, oops), a few stains on the straps, and a couple of scuffs on the front gray part. I did get this on as carry on (Air Canada), but I couldn't get it in the overhead bin and it wasn't the most comfortable of flights lol. Here's where it's found on MEC (this is the short 50L bag) - https://www.mec.ca/en/product/5024-837/aurora-50-backpack Product Description: Float along effortlessly on overnight or multi-day backpacking trips. A new development in MEC pack technology allows the Aurora to carry weight like it's an extension of your own body. The Trail Motion™ hipbelt pivots a full 12-degrees in either direction to stop the pack from swaying and to limit the associated energy loss. Stabilizer straps let you reduce the range of motion when you’re traversing more complex terrain.
