This is a hand made hanging garland perfect for those who want to connect with nature when decorating their home for winter, Yule, or whatever your celebration or desire may be. Foraged locally only from pieces found on the forest floor to reduce impact on the forest. It’s a mix of cedars and pines, with a fern, pine one, and dried orange. Smaller bundles are on my page for $5. Think this is expensive? While they may look simple, creating these included: 1 hour of foraging 1 hour of driving 2 hours washing and drying the pieces to clear of bugs and dirt 4 hours to dry oranges 2 hours of creating bundles, sewing, and wrapping That means if I sell them all (including this larger $8 one), I earn $3.80 per hour it took to create. Want to reduce you’re impact even more? Every piece of these garlands are natural. No plastic, glue, etc was used. Twine and sewing attach the dried oranges and pine cones to the garlands. That means for those who would like, you can take off the twine to reuse and cut the sewing to return the contents to the forest floor after use. Or, you can burn it if you have a fireplace.
