Large glass bottles

These are vintage green glass demijohns, also known as carboys. Demijohns are large, narrow-necked glass vessels with a round body, historically used for storing and fermenting liquids like wine and spirits. They are now commonly repurposed as decorative items in homes or gardens. The term "demijohn" or "Dame Jeanne" (in France) refers to the shape and size of the container, which can range widely in capacity. The items in the image appear to be large Italian-style demijohns, with the left one still fitted with a cork stopper. $150 each
