You rinse the brush head, pop it inside onto the small pegs (bristles facing the light), and hit the green button. It uses UV light to kill bacteria. ​Charges Your Toothbrush: The small post on the right side is a charging dock for a Philips Sonicare toothbrush handle.This is a Philips Sonicare toothbrush charging base with a UV sanitizer. It's white and blue and comes with a power cord. It includes the base unit and the sanitizer chamber.
