Vintage MCM Brass Tulip Candleholder by Gunnar Ander

Vintage brass candle holder designed by Gunnar Ander for Ystad Metall in Sweden during the 1950s or 1960s. Gunnar Ander was a renowned Swedish industrial designer best known for his work with Ystad Metall. His work is displayed in numerous museums. This design features a beautiful double tulip motif in solid brass. Details marked on the base. This item is sought after by collectors, my last photo shows a purchase price on 1st Dibs for over $300. - 5 1/4” tall, 3.5” wide, base diameter 3” - fits a candle approx 1/2” diameter - 196 grams of brass - it does have some patina and signs of use but is in otherwise very good vintage condition 🏃‍♂️Pick up in the Ossington and Davenport area.
