This sewing machine was passed down to me from my Aunt. it's a solid machine (all metal body), which does make the machine a little heavy. I kept it as a "backup machine" for my primary sewing machine, but never really needed it, which is why I'm selling it. Comes with the foot pedal and a box of parts/bobbins and other feet. I've powered this machine on and ran a few stitches just to make sure it was working, and I didn't have any problems - works great! The 5522 would be a great machine for someone starting out. The dials/buttons are not overly complicated and should be easy to figure out. Unfortunately no user manual, however you may be able to find it online. Let me know if you have questions.
