The bed frame is made of sturdy wood and the nightstand has two drawers. The nightstand is a good size and has a small shelf for books. The set has been well-loved and cared for. There are minor scratches on the nightstand and footstand but the headboard is like-new. There is a 3-inch box and a mattress which is included.
