This thing sounds rad!! Crunchy and lofi in all the right ways. Onboard mic sounds super killer on acoustic guitars and drums, just pop it in the room along with the rest of the drum mics and fly the track into your DAW from the headphone jack. Little tape recorders like this can be a really effective studio tool for making Lofi interludes and bringing tape noise to songs that can be too digital. A little bit of hiss and tape presence can go a long way. This one is a little different from the other ones I have because it has that epic pitch wheel! That thing is so fun and useful in the studio for psychedelic slow downs, it’s really cool to play with that thing for a cool effect. Runs on two AA batteries ( batteries not included). Tested and working record and playback.
