Fabric covered plastic balls with led lights. Works but this set is rated for 240V so the lights are a little dimmer with our 120V outlets. Unless you have a 240V transformer. Also, the plug is two-prong round (see 4th pic) so you need an adapter to the two-prong straight plugs. A couple balls have a dent but hardly noticeable.
