Your car only locks the charge port and your adapter, allowing people to unplug the J1772 charger (the handle part) if left unattended. This lock prevents that from happening and is thick enough so it won't break easily. Easy to use, simply connect your Tesla adapter to the J1772 charger, then slip this lock over top before plugging it into your car. Lock only, adapter and charger not included.
