Hello Karrot neighbours! 👋 Now that summer has come to an end, how about sharing last season's things that you don't need with your community? Outdoor furniture, kids' stuff, camping gear, everything - if it's in good shape and you don't need it, give it a new home down the road. 🥕 HOW TO PARTICIPATE Step 1. List 1 or more free items on Karrot ✔️ Set the price to $0 ✔️ Include #freecycle in the title ✔️ Tip: Share why you're giving away and the new owner will appreciate it more. e.g. Bought the bike last summer but my 6 year old has grown so much since. It's practically brand new, only been on it a few times. So feel free to pick it up for your little one. Step 2. Comment on this post e.g. I've listed a patio table, camping gear, and my kids' outgrown clothes. Hope they find a new loving home! Step 3. 25 Winners will be announced on Sep 24 Make sure to check the announcement post and messages on Karrot. When you list a free item, you'll be entered into the Fall Freecycle draw. 🎁 🏆 20 lucky winners: $10 Starbucks gift card Randomly selected among users who list a free item during the event. 🏆 5 lucky winners: $25 Michaels gift card Randomly selected among users who manage to give away to another Karrot neighbour and leave each other reviews. When: Sep 11 00:00 - Sep 17 23:59 (EDT) Terms and Conditions Apply - Users who uploaded 1 or more valid "freecycling listings" between Sep 11 0:00 - Sep 17 23:59 will be counted as valid entry. - Listings with price set at $0 with #freecycle tag in the title will be counted as a valid "freecycling listing" - Only "freecycling listings" set to "sold" with corresponding user reviews will be deemed a "completed transaction". - Winners will be randomly selected. - Users can only win one prize. - This promotion is only open to signed up & verified users in Ontario. - Prize winners may be asked for a short interview from the Karrot Team. - Listings must include pictures of actual items and an accurate description. - Listings must follow Karrot's guidelines and policies. Items listed in Karrot's Prohibited Items will be excluded. - Engagement may be monitored to verify the validity of the completed transaction.
