TWO GREAT BRITAIN SIXPENCE COINS - QUEEN ELIZABETH & GEORGE VI

    Art & Collectibles ·

    $10

TWO GREAT BRITAIN SIXPENCES - 1967 QUEEN ELIZABETH II & 1950 GEORGE VI Both sixpences are in very good condition - you will have sixpences like the ones pictured. The 1967 sixpence has Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse, and the botanical symbols for Britain (rose), Scotland (thistle), Northern Ireland (shamrock), and Wales (leek) on the reverse. The 1950 sixpence features the portrait of King George VI, Queen Elizabeth’s father (the one featured in the movie “The King’s Speech”). It has his initials and the date on the reverse. I also have other sixpences from 1947, 1948, 1949, 1951, 1960 and 1964. These sixpences are not silver, no silver sixpences were made after 1946.
