We bought this Ikea lamp a few months ago and never opened it. It's box packed with the plastic covers. Opened the seal just to take a picture of it. It has two lamps with the same base: One spreads a pleasant light upwards and the other is a directable reading lamp. Both are also partly made of recycled plastic. Gives a diffused light which is good for spreading light around the room. These lamps can be both general lights and reading lights and can be switched on and off separately.
