Vintage 1950's Chairs (2). Canadian Designer.

I bought these chairs from a small vintage/antique dealer here in Birchcliffe! Toronto, Ontario. They were in need of help. I had them reupholstered by professional who told me these were made by a famous or very well known Canadian Designer, I asked who? He couldn't remember and he threw away the label, ohhhh I was furious! Anyhow, a few days later my dog decided to play with her chewy toy near or on my chair and she ended up chewing the arm Just through the fabric not the wood. These chairs are structurally sound. The wood legs are fine, no gouges or splinters, just in need of sanding and refinishing. The screws below need a good tightening and the upholstery, yes absolutely needs to be redone. I would have chose a nice neutral grey weave fabric. I can't refinish these. These are not throw away chairs! These are Vintage Canadian, and need someone who can bring them back to their deserved glory! Major reduction. Just reduced to $20 each. Door pick up.
