Vintage 1990 Ninja Turtles cassette player/recorder

This is a vintage Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cassette player/recorder from 1990. It MOSTLY works - read below. It includes the original box but does NOT include the original headphones. The microphone works, but cuts in and out a bit. If you hold the wire just right it works better. The earphone jack works perfectly. The tape player functions: PLAY - a tape can be played but the unit has to be lying flat to play well. If standing up it stops every few seconds. RECORD - It still records! You can’t hear yourself through the speaker or earphones while recording, but if the mic is held just right it will record onto tape. REWIND - works well but the button pops off when you hit stop. FAST FORWARD - does not work. STOP/EJECT - works but can stick so sometimes have to work to get a tape out Volume can be adjusted. On/off button on unit with power light and on/off button on mic still work. The speaker does produce a lot of static. You have to kind of kiss the mic to be heard. I have freshly laundered the removable foam bit. There is a small chunk missing from the foam as pictured. While there is a holster for the mic on the side, the mic no longer stays put there. The unit has a removable strap. The back features a spot to stash your favourite cassette tape. Takes 4 x C batteries (included). Clean and in nice condition. A few small spots of wear on Raphael on the front and a small part of speaker sticker missing - see photos. Box is in okay shape but has a rip on the top and some wear. Pickup only.
