Vintage Naturecraft figurine "Late Homer"

"Late Homer" is a hand-painted chalkware figurine by Naturecraft Ltd from England. Ref # 834 Vintage 1973. No chips or cracks. Figurine shows a pigeon keeper looking to the sky waiting for his last bird to return home. His dog Rover sits in the dog house also looking to the sky. The man has a pigeon on his shoulder, one on the dog house and one at his feet. He holds a dish of food to entice the 'last homer' back. Naturecraft Ltd was sold in the late 1970's and discontinued production of most of its figurines.
