Vintage NEW Souvenir Fringe Pillow Cover Fish Fishing Hunting

What an amazing glimpse of our past obsessions. These pillow covers were all the rage in the 50s when you would go on long car trips with the family (think cheaper gas) and of course you would pick something up wherever you stopped - sort of like a trophy that you would then display to your friends and neighbours when they came over for your barbecue and slide show. Those were the days….This cover is brand new - never used - perfect - the old price tag is still on it. And when I mean old price tag I really mean it. These were the way price tags were added so that fabric would not be damaged by glue. The back of the cover has one open slot for you to slip your pillow in. I would say the colour of the back satin (the yellow) did not photograph as yellow/gold as it actually is. This is the perfect decor for your cabin or lodge look and a very unique gift for the fishing enthusiast in your life. All it needs is a bit of steaming to take out the folds. At 70 years it is actually in museum worthy condition. Thank you for looking at this item.
