Vintage Notitake Raleigh oval plater

This platter was made by Noritake. The pattern name is "Raleigh". Noritake produced this pattern only from 1973 to 1984. Over the white china, a white glaze was applied. A pattern was added to the rim. The pattern is of a green and pale yellow scroll and floral with a tiny square pattern in the same green and yellow edging it. Around the rim of the platter and encircling the well a platinum edge was applied. On the underside of the platter it is stamped with the Noritake Contemporary backstamp and includes the pattern name "Raleigh" and the pattern number "2487". This is an oversized serving platter. It measures 11 1/2" wide, 16" long and stands 1 1/2" high. This is a great platter for your largest turkey, roast dinners or even to serve your favorite recipes on a buffet!
