Vintage Pan Acoustic Guitar - Matsumoku Factory

Pan Acoustic Guitar Serial Number 656000 Matsumoku Factory Made In Japan Rare Vintage 1970's Pan P-07 Dreadnaught Acoustic guitar. Matsumoku Made in Japan. Looks To Be A Natural Spruce Top, & The Sides & Back Look To Be Mahogany. The Original Chipboard Case Included. Here's an interesting Acoustic Guitar, Made In Japan, By The Artisans At The Matsumoku Factory Serial No: 656000. The Sound & Tone Is Pretty good & The Action Is Fairly Low. Condition is quite good with just minor marks on the body. The head plate has a small crack on the front and back but this does not enter the actual headstock just the name plate. Some finish crazing at the neck joint but the neck is straight. Small bow in the top behind the bridge but doesn’t appear to cause any issues. The guitar could use a new bridge as these old metal bridges are notoriously less than perfect. I’m sure a new bridge set up would improve playability and the overall sound. As mentioned above the top appears to be a solid spruce top so it is well seasoned. No cracks on the body. The tuners are stiff but do turn and keeps the guitar in tune. Comes with the original chip board case in good condition. So there you have it with a little TLC I think it will be a very nice guitar. Open to offers.
