Vintage Persian Hand-painted Miniature Painting Bone Hunting

What a little treasure in miniature. The entire painted panel is only 3" x 5" but what a lot of skill and artistry is fit into its size. The central panel has a hand painted scene of hunters on horses. These painted panels were often painted on ivory but I have no way of knowing if that is the case for this little treasure, it is most likely bone. Surrounding the panel is an intricate hand-painted border that must have taken hours to render with gouache paint. The entire piece of art is mounted in a floating glass frame which is 5" x 7". No damage whatsoever. Thank you for looking at this item. I am selling it as I need to thin down my various collections which have grown huge over the years.
