told it was made from 100 years or more old barn wood. I bought and sanded down, varnished black, and top-coated for a black living and dining area. Has a metal middle shelf. It really reminded me of a big butchers table it had a lot of knife cut marks on top i sanded down. I may have sanded too much but was revarnishing pitch black anyways. Will not be using anymore. I bought it for $1000 put all the work in and still will be putting another coat or two of topcoat but decided to place for sale a bit early.
