Description of varieties: The Glitter Rock Star is the one that literally comes from the ditches of Toronto. We named it after our good friend who gave it to us and this is the variety that started our garlic growing journey! It produces nice size bulbs with ruby-red clove skins. Medium Spice when eaten raw. When cooked it has a nutty flavor. BBG Big Beautiful Garlic! It is a Porcelain variety suspected lineage Spanish hardneck variety that can produce bulbs over 3 inches across. Hot Spice when eaten raw. When cooked taste goes from hot to sweet. The Heritage garlic was grown by our grandparents under the apple tree and in the spirit of reviving our family farm we propagated the variety. It has a Mild Spice when eaten raw and has a bold savory taste when cooked.
