This STUNNING F50 is finished in Rosso Corsa (Racing Red), features chrome quad exhaust, separate lenses for the running, turn, and brake lights, separate mirrors, and windshield wipers, finely scaled correct 5 spoke wheels, and highly detailed cockpit. The acrylic display case is sharp, with clear, clean optics. The slip case has sharp, crisp corners, with bright color, all flaps factory attached, of course! Simply put, New Old Stock!!.This model like ALL my models has always been stored sympathetically in a controlled environment, and NEVER been on display. Ferrari's new supercar, christened the F50, appeared at the 1995 Geneva Motor Show. The car, equipped with a 4.7-liter, 520-horsepower V12 engine, bore many similarities to Formula 1s and was considered the point of the highest meeting between a racing car and a road car. The characteristics of the F50 prompted Ferrari to develop a competition version for the BPR championship. The car, however, never took to the track. The road going F50, jewel of the Pininfarina style, remained in production until 1997 with a total of 349 units built... asking $55
